values. This position is required to work on-site 5 days a
week.What we do: The Configuration Management Lead reports directly
to the Aircraft Integration Manager and is responsible for ensuring
proper collaboration across all engineering functional groups. The
role involves leading all engineering Configuration Management
activities and assisting in developing standardized processes and
procedures. The person in this role will be responsible for
managing the configuration of all product data produced by the
Supernal team and by the suppliers during the development and
manufacture of the aircraft.What you can do:Collaborate with
various engineering subject areas to design high-reliability,
safety-critical systems for an electric vertical takeoff and
landing (eVTOL) aircraftDemonstrate understanding of Configuration
Management (CM) concepts, principles, and practices, especially in
the aerospace industryCoordinate the Configuration Management
team's workflowDevelop a comprehensive Configuration Management
Plan (CMP) that is in line with industry guidelines and standard
processes and prepares documentation needed during the audits from
regulatory bodies such as FAA and EASAAssume ownership of the
execution of the organizational change process, ensuring changes
are well documented, impacts assessed, reviewed, and communicated
in a timely manner.Take baselines of the program configuration data
and make it available for critical design gate reviews such as PDR
and CDRFacilitate various change and configuration management
boards such as CCB, etcAnalyze product baselines for compliance
with regulatory and industry standardsResponsible for performing
periodic internal audits to ensure compliance and continually
update the processes and documentationCoach and mentor junior team
members to develop and guide them in their career
progressionPartner with PMO organization to implement build planUp
to 10% of domestic and international travelOther duties as
assignedWhat you can contribute:Bachelor's degree in engineering
required; Master's degree preferredMinimum ten (10) years of
experience in Configuration Management of complex multi-domain
product data (an equivalent combination of education and experience
may be considered)Minimum five (5) years of proven direct product
configuration management experience (Product structure, parts,
drawings, and requirements management)Minimum five (5) years of
experience of demonstrated experience working in a highly regulated
environment (aerospace, medical devices, nuclear, etc.)Experience
with CAD (CATIA V5/V6/3DX/NX), requirements management (IBM DOORS,
Jama), and software code management (git, Subversion,
Bitbucket)Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and/or
data management toolsets for configuration management of complex
productsExperience with project management, organizational skills,
and attention to detailExperience with PLM integrations to
downstream systems such as ERP and MES systemsOperational
experience managing company releases, agency records, and
controlled data (i.e FAA, ITAR, EAR)A detailed understanding of
aircraft configuration principles, including reconciliation between
OEM and vendor design/manufacturing systemsKnowledge of data
management solutions as they relate to electronically stored
documents, 3D models, substantiation, and design data
packagesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProactive
delivery of communication and follow upExcellent organizational
skills and attention to detailMust have the ability to
independently prioritize and accomplish work within time
constraintsProficiency with Excel VLOOKUP, pivot tables, MS Office
SuiteYou may also be able to contribute:Configuration Management
certification (such as CM2) preferred #FJBase pay offered may vary
depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and
location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of
total compensation.The pay range for this position
